    T
     
    Tannic: It designates, in general, a strong and astringent wine.
    Tannins: preserving substances which are extracted from skins and seeds of the grape. The colour, the texture and part of the flavor of the wine has influence on them.
    Tears of wine (Wine legs): rests which mark the globules which fall slowly down a glass after shaking the wine. It can be signs of a fortified wine. Thick drops and well defined show high levels of alcohol, glycerin and dissolved solids.
    Terroir (French term): It is the term and concept which designs to the whole ecologic which is composed and is conjugated in the ground and the climate and the own characteristics of a terrain where vineyards are cultivated.
    Thin: Wine of a little flavor and high acidity.
    Tired: of reduced flavor, generally by excess in a process of clarification.
    Toasty /Toast bread: Pleasant smells which use to hold big white wines and champagnes.
