    Acetones: It is in the same family of the features of varnish. It is the smell nearby to the nail polish renover characterized of the very old liquors.
    Acid: Type of wine in which the acid flavor is distinguished above other flavors due to the natural acid of the grape or the one which is obtained from the fermentation process.
    Aftertaste: Shade or note of a smell or flavor of a wine.
    Alcohol: One of the main components of the wine. It gives the wine the strength and character. (See balanced).
    Alcoholic: It is not a pejorative term of alcohol excess; in that case it would be liquor. When we say alcoholic, it is referred to a predominant element but not aggressive.
    Aldehidic: Alcoholic sensation and at the same time mellow which is in the old wines of a great alcoholic power which have had an oxidative aging.
    Amber: First phase of aging of the brandies and runs (tone between yellow and reddish).
    Amber-tinted: Color characterized of some white wines which reminds of the tonality of the amber due to the oxidation process. Term which defines a richness of flavors, as if it fills the mouth. It is a sensation which it is experienced in the entry into the mouth.
    Animal: bouquet, generally is not positive, produced by a long preserving in bottle (remember to dog´s wet fur and humid leather).
