    D
     
    Decrepit: Wine in the end of its life, which has lost its virtues with the age.
    Deep/ Depth: Wine which seems to have deep layers of flavor.
    Delicate: Attractive and balanced in a light wine.
    Designation of Origen (D.O): Indicates/shows the place of origin of the wine, guarantee by an organization whose objective is to protect the characteristic of the production of the area. It also exists the term of Denomination of Origen Controlated (D. O. C).
    Distinguished/Elegant: It has refined quality, features of quality and purity with notable harmony.
    Doughy/Sticky: Rich in dry extract or in glycerin.
    Dry: It means that it is not sweet, without residual sugars.
    Dull/ Tasteless: Shadowy wine, dull /softened, insipid.
